I have a late model AVCO New Idea corn picker that is in need of some new tires.. What do you recommend as a replacement?? Talked with a local tire guy and he can get brand new ones, but I thought he said they were only a 4ply rating. Has the smooth tires on it now, but like the looks of the bar style tread. Thank...

Can you experienced picking men guide me? How tight should the husking rolls be on the New Idea? If too tight, will they wear out too fast? What do I use to gage or measure how tight? Thanks.

Can you get stripper bars for a 325 New Idea to cut down on the shelling with the snapping rolls

Supposedly after White took over MM the 1210 shellmaster was offered to Oliver dealers with green paint . . . I've seen a toy based on one, but have never seen a picture of a real one, nor literature for one. There were also a few red White 1210 shellers near the very end (1973-74?).

Has anyone ever added the cylinder mounts to a New Idea 324 for having a hydraulic tongue? Seems like it would be a handy feature and my 324 doesn't have the mounts.

Hello I am putting up another Behlen wire crib and I want to put the slot thru it for sheller drags. Can anybody tell me a width and depth dimension that would work. We have a MM sheller now but now drags for it. Maybe some day another MM or JD sheller will show up with the drags. Anyway, any help in sizing this...

I have 2 oliver #5 corn pickers. The main drive roller chain on one is a Baldwin 125 and the other picker has a LinkBelt 126 chain on it. This is the roller chain that drives the infeed chains and snapper rolls. The sprockets are the same part number on both machines. I am looking for a source for repair...
