Wagon Pictures

I bought this wagon at a auction a while back and the box had just been rebuilt as you can see the bottom of the floor shows new wood.  The side boards had been rebuilt also.

I add the top the top board.

I packed the wheels bearings and decided the top board needed painting and here how it ended up.

I put on new 9.5L 14 tires while I was at it.  Now! it should be ready to pick corn in.

NICE wagon!! What kind of paint did you use on the box? I am in the process of repainting a wagon box. It is a Minnesota barge box on a New Idea gear.

I used enamal (Gloss Bright Red) I got at the lumber yard.  I use it on a wood truck box and it still looked good ten years later.  I like the enamal because of the metal parts on the box I can keep on painting and it stay on the wood for a long time.

Ron , that has really cleaned up nice ! Almost too nice to pick in but , your going to anyway ! Good wagons come at a premium ! They are as much of a investment as the pickers in alot of cases!

Thats a nice one !

I'm curious as to the dimensions of that wagon. It certainly turned out sharp!

The wagon is 12x6 and 32 inch sides.  I would like to add another 12 inch top board to it so it will hold a nice size load of corn.
