I recently purchased a 2MH picker that was on a Farmall 450 standard hitch tractor. I currently have it on a M, but when I hook up the drive shaft, it is not straight, and when you lift the picker, it makes an awful sound. Are there different mounts between the two tractors?
You need to change the angle of the gear box. Check the owner's manual if you have one. There are different axle brackets for an M than a 450. That could change the distance between the gear box and PTO.
