Any reason as to why IH sold around 14,000 1-PR pickers between 1953-74 and only around 1500 2-PR during the same period? 2-row mounted IH pickers were just that popular with farmall owners and competition for 2-row pull-types was so tight that IH couldn't sell to non-IH tractor owners?

have a lead on a decent 234 with a sheller, what are the sheller units going for these days? Also I kow where there's a 2m I believe ( it has the holes in the top of the front snoot) straight, but weathered, I'm in western Iowa Brad bl4440@schallertel.net

The inside snapping rolls must have a stripped gear - they don't work, so I just pick one row at a time, which is plenty for my little 8N. es
