In California Mo we had a Ford dealer ship until 1998. I was talking to the owner son and he is my age, so he the right age to remember year back, but can't remember his own name. We got off on corn pickers and the imformation started flowing about his dad when he was selling mounted pickers. His dad took some movies back when he would demo a new picker. Now wouldn't that be somthing to see.
Then he told about a machanic that was making mount so his dad could sell a picker to farmer that didn't have a Ford. Ford found out about this and came to there dealer ship and copyed the mounts this guy was building and started making them. Ford company didn't give them anything for the mounts.
