I've been looking for a JD 71 Flex planter (2 row) to plant my corn next year. I put an add in the Farmers and Consumers Bulletin. I had a guy respond yesterday the he had JD 7100 planters that he would sell to me for $175.00 each. I could put 2 on a toolbar and have a two row planter. Question is: Is this a go...

Earlier this fall I mounted up my New Idea 319 gathering unit on my JD 2520, in preparation to fill the 2 cribs that I filled last year. To save space in the shed until I was ready to use it, I did not mount the husking bed on it right away. Soon after I had it ready to go I discovered that most of the corn this...

I live in NW Missouri about 15 miles from the Iowa line. I have found a corn elevator not to far from home. The elevator has a drag on it. It is 50 ft long he says. It's in really good shap. Here they are, I finally got them on you tube! I had a great time picking (and this was my first time!) I did notice that the picker had a hard time keeping up with the high population corn, but I feathered the hand clutch on my WD and it went great once I found a good speed. About ten years ago an old friend gave me a very basic corn picker. This year I finally got time to put it into working condition.
