John Deere cornpickers

I was wondering if someone knew the model numbers of John Deere pull type pickers and when they were made?  I know the 300, but what about a model 18?  I grew up around New Idea, and saw some IH around, but no Deere's around me.  I'm new here but am facinated with pickers.

Welcome to the forum. I don't have the correct years in front of me but as to the JD 18 picker was produced from the late 50's to the 60's. John Deere's first corn picker came out in 1926 as a ground driven picker but many were converted as a pull type with PTO. Next picker was the No 10 one row pull from 1929 - 1942. No 20 two row pull came out in the early 30's. The No 20 needed improvements and were made in the late 30's. The model No was change to No 21. I believed the No 200 came out in the early 40's, a two row pull. I hope this information helps. Corn Picker Bob
