Wanted: MM Mounts for New Idea Mounted Picker

I am looking for a set of mounting brackets for hanging a New Idea picker on a Minneapolis Moline M670 Super, Should be the same for a M602, M5, Possibly a 5 Star. Have seen pics in a manual of them but not a good enough drawing to build them. I know of a M670 Super with a NI picker , but the brackets are burried under the picker where they cannot be measured. There is also extensions built to extend the nose of the picker to clear the nose of the tractor, I am not sure a 670 needs them but a M5 would with the ledge sticking out above the lights.  All I can say is its a tight fit! Post back here if you can help me out.

EDIT: I forgot to add the picker I am looking at is a 319

Don't know how much help I'll be, but here goes. The actual axle mounts for the 445, 4-Star and U-302 are the same. And the axle mounts for the 5-Star, M5, 602 & M-670 Series are the same (but different from the first set of tractors I listed). The pictures I have in my parts catalog aren't detailed enought to use for patterns either. Maybe this info will be helpful to someone out there who has any Moline mounts - now they will know what other MM models the mounts will fit and may be able to help you out.

I do have the parts to extend the nose of the picker out for longer tractors, but Minnesota is a long ways from Illinois.

Thanks for the input! I thought that all of the bigger tractors used the same mounts, not sure what is different about the smaller tractors. I have a MM loader that has been on a 602, then a 670, now a U302, I know there was something different but cant remember. I have only ever seen one NI picker on a MM, there probably wasnt many out there, I would guess anything I find will be in your part of the world.

What part of MN are you in? I get to the Clarion IA area frequently and may be able to look at the extensions. I assume you are willing to part with them? They should lay flat to ship them also, unless there are parts that I am not remembering, I thought there was pretty much flat pieces of galvanized and upper screen, maybe some small pipes too?

I'm in SW Minnesota, still quite aways from Clarion. Yes I'm willing to part with the extensions - I think I have 2 or more sets. (They are still on my parts picker). Most of it is sheet metal except the U-shaped pipe which goes inside around the front and supports the whole thing.

I'll have to see if I can find a set of brackets and then we'll talk! I know a guy with 3 NI 319's, husking beds, and a sheller, all are MINT! He said he would sell them, this is the same guy with the 670 under one. I need to decide what I want to do and go from there

He wouldn't happen to have a 308 snapper elevator unit for these pickers? I've been looking for one of those for over 2 years now so if you know of one, let me know! I'm willing to travel aways for one of those! When I find one, I'll have all 5 attachments New Idea made for the 319 mounted picker.

I have a piece of NI literature from about '63 that shows a 305 (old version of 319) on a M5. I will look at it in the next few days. I have a 602 I would like to put a NI picker on as well. I have bypassed a couple NI mtds till I know I can put it on a usable tractor and not just having it sit in the way. I have a M5, but use it too much to tie it up with a picker.
