Are the gathering chains good? Also, does this have any extra features on it, such as a fan for the husks coming up the elevator?

THE GATHERING CHAINS ARE IN PRETTY GOOD SHAPE AND THERE IS NO ELEVATOR FAN ON IT. I USED THE PICKER THIS FALL ON ABOUT 15 ACRES OF CORN BEFORE THE SLIP CLUTCH ON THE PTO SHAFT GAVE OUT. THE LOCAL DEALER COULD NOT LOCATE ANY PARTS SO I DECIDED IT WAS TIME TO RETIRE IT AND MOVE UP TO A NEWER PICKER. IF SOMEONE HAD THE TIME TO MAKE 1 OUT OF 2 THIS WOULD BE A GOOD ONE. THIS PICKER HUSKS BETTER THEN THE JOHN DEERE 300 IT REPLACED.

Before you decide to scrap it out, and if you still want it, contact TimsIHtractors on here, the other moderator. If you cant get ahold of him, send me a PM and I'll give you his number, he may have one sitting around there from something.

THE JD 300 REPLACED THE 1PR NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND. I JUST DONT HAVE ANY USE FOR THE OLD PICKER ANYMORE. WITH THE PRICE OF DEISEL THE WAY IT IS,TWO ROWS ARE BETTER THEN ONE.

Hello, What I am after is the load leveler assy or basically the deflector/shutter that is in the top of the elevator. This basically funnels the corn toward the front or the back of the trailer under the elevator. It is adjustable as you drive via a rope pull. IH part number is
578586R92 Load Leveler Assembly Bundle.
Let me know if you have it.
Thanks

Found my deflector.  Clyde Berkshire with Berkshire implement had it.  Great guy.  New Old Stock IH, part numbers painted on it, IH bolts, all there.  Thanks Clyde. Can not wait to get into my 2 acres of corn to pick.
