I kinda doubt it. Last time I ran a Model E sheller, I used a DC Case, and it had just enough power when I really loaded the drag full. But my corn wasn't nearly that dry either. But it can't hurt to try.
I have a MM D sheller that I use on my Farmall H. I run corn out of the field through the sheller and the H does a good job on the sheller. I would think that if you don't stuff the sheller too full and the corn is at 13%, the 8N would do the job. It will be a good workout for the tractor. Give it a try and see. Let us know how it went.
im runnin my mm1200 sheller with a moline ztu and the dry corn it seems to do fine i havnt tried wet corn tho i dont kno what my z has for horse power but it sure cant be much lol
