New to Forum

Hi Everyone. I'm just joining this forum so bear with me.
I grew up on an IH 234 mounted on a JD 3010 Diesel and have spent many an evening washing corn shucks from my neck.
I've recently acquired a JD 237 that was on a 4010.
Will it mount on my JD 730? I've had yea's and nays. Help?

It should fit just fine. There are a few mounting parts that are different between the 4010 and the 730 and of course the radiator sceens are different. Best thing to do is get ahold of a parts catalog for the 237 Picker so you can see what parts are different enough that you need to find them. Many times there are a few items that you can change over and make them work or get something made locally that will work.

I'm new myself but so far i am enjoying the fourm . I didn't think anybody messed with this old junk but me i'm glad to know i'm not the only one who likes this stuff. You will have to post some pic. of the 730 @ the 237 .

The 237 will work on your 730 just fine. The only thing you will need are some spacers to go between the axle brackets and the axles. The operator's manual explains the mounting procedure for different tractors very well [especially Deeres]. I have a good selection of spacers if you need some.

Thank you!!!
I'll certainly keep the spacers in mind. Do you have access to the extra screens for the tractor as well? I have a neighbor who is a sheet metal expert that could help me rebuild a damaged set if necessary.
