What are the features of that picker? Is it a mounted? I know where A LOT of John Deere pickers sit, looks more like a salvage/scrap yard than a farm, but many of the pickers were DEFINATELY parked there after being on a tractor... I think he has some pull types too. Are there any pictures on the Internet of a 127 I could compare to? I'll look around. Welcome to the board!!
If i remeber correctly the 127 is a mounted 1 row picker. it was just like the 227 except it was only one row. there was an article on one in a recent issue of green magazine. I'll see if i can dig if up
It was semi mounted, I saw one once at a show in Canada. It has a wheel on one side, and the rest is mounted. Pretty neat, although not very practical. The one I saw was on a JD H.
Yep, as everyone said, it's a one row picker. I've got a JD 50 that I would like to put it on. I've also got a 227 (the two row version) on a 70, which works pretty well.
Where is the yard that has all the pickers in it? That sounds like a good place to check out.
