I just bought myself on auction a oliver No. 2 two row side elevator cornpicker in the shed settled down in the dirt so i can't get it out of the shed til the spring so itll be nice to keep it in the shed for awhile will post picture when i get it ready to pull out of the shed and put together now i just need a Oliver...

My buddy found me a Sheller don't know what no. it is but this sheller has never been used, in the barn, so what is it worth? My thought was $500 for the sheller to high or to cheap? Here are some pics from this fall. The first five are of me playing with the "red" pickers. The next three are of my son doing some serious work with the John Deere. This year we picked a little over ten thousand bushels of ear corn. We harvested the majority of the corn with the combine.

Finally got some picks back from this fall's picking. I didn't think I had gotten any pictures, but a friend snuck over and took some pictures while I was combining soybeans in the afternoon. Hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday!!

I was just curious if anyone has picked any ear corn yet? I would like to pick a little here in SW Minnesota but from what I've been hearing from the ones who have started combining corn is that it is already 14-18% moisture - too dry for picking!

I just went and looked over a farm aution south of Syracuse Mo. on D hiway and there will be a 227 JD picker and a Ford two row mounted picker on the sale this Saturday Sept 29, 2007.
