AC 170 on D-17

ran this in September at our club showgrounds ---- picked about 5 acres with it --- I wasnt impressed with the unit but got goat roped into driving it because no body else would! Tractor runs WAY too fast and picker plugged up all the time. Picker owner wants to take it to Rantoul this year to pick there!--- he will get the shocking of his life when he ties into the stalks they have over there! lol! Anyway I couldnt drive and take pix, so this will have to do.

Just checking on some old posts here. These pickers do not have the capacity of a 234 IH or a New Idea but they do a decent job. I have seen a number of them run at shows(one time was at Rantoul) and own a 190 that I have ran myself. There has to be a reason why it was plugging. Im guessing improperly adjusted stripper plates or gathering chains.

It belonged to another guy and we didnt mess with any of the settings on it. He just wanted to know that it ran so IF it needs work, he will have to do that on his own! I think he knew it had major problems and thought we would fix them for him!---DIDNT HAPPEN!!! lol!
