HCOP

How many of you were able to attend the Half Century of Progress show in Rantoul this past week? As a first time attendee, I thought it was great. I had heard it was big, but the magnitude of it blew me away! My local show at Portland was this week and I think it suffered but people like seeing demos and action and shows have to change things up in order to stay fresh. I was only able to attend on Thursday. Neighbor and I went, saw them open up a couple fields and then start combining and picking. The number of operations going on - picking, stalk shredding, disking, shelling, hauling cobs back to the field, drying, etc. was fun to count too!

Not one favorite machine, liked them all! Haha

How could anyone expect to see anything, but a small fraction of what all goes on, in only one day?

Received my copy of the corn crib book yesterday, and after a quick look-see, I think it is safe to say that it will be another great book.
