I know this isn't a corn picker picture, but this is how it was done before my family got their first one(a one-row New Idea).....
The mules are "Bud" & "Queen", the 25 acres refers to the field the corn was picked from somewhere between 1939 and 1941.
I like that picture! I have a team very similar that I call Shorty and Tom. They are good to pick corn with but the writing on the photo explains why I don't do it much ! Thank goodness for mechanical cornpickers. Lee
