Oliver #74 picker goes to a new home.

Well Kevin and I decided it was time for another road trip. This time it was western Iowa to go and "gather" up an Oliver #74 corn picker and an Oliver 880 diesel tractor. We went to pick it up for one of Kevin's friends, and I was told we were going to mount it on the 880. When we got there that plan changed immediatly after we seen where the picker was and condition of the 880. So we loaded it on the trailer piece by piece instead. We ran into rain about half the way over but it quit raining before we got there, then we got to "enjoy" the humidity and heat instead. After a couple of hours the work was done we went on our way back home. The picker has sat out quite awhile and has seen alot of use but, for now the scrap man dont get this one.no

It doesn't look as bad as the first couple of corn pickers I started farming with!

Dang Charlie, I wish you all would have thrown them 18.4's on the trailer also! My Big Oliver needs some new skins before HCOP
