Late model New Idea 324 with 327 12-roll bed, in use. Early model 324 with 326 8-roll bed, broken first elevator shaft and bad bearings, in parts row. New Idea 311 with 313 8-roll bed, rough looking but works, probably will get sold so I'll have to come back and change this post in the future! UPDATE: 311 has been sold, and its parts supply picker went with it. So now I'm down to a working 324 and a parts 324.

Here are the New Idea corn pickers I have in the shed:

NI 319 gathering unit: Lot P-256, serial 165931, purchased used in October 1987 for $1390 which included 12 roll husking bed

NI 322 12 roll husking bed: Lot P-257, serial 167858

NI 315 sheller unit: Lot P-346, serial 221807, purchased from neighbor in October 1989 for $125

NI 323: 1 row pull behind, Lot P-412, serial 252630, bought on a farm auction for $75 in 2007

All are in good working order. My dad and I had the 319 mounted this past fall with the sheller on an IH 656. Hopefully this fall I will have both pickers out in the field picking corn!

Saturday I got my picker home.  It is a 325 with a 326 husking bed.   It needs a good greasing and oil on the chains.  It has been sitting inside unused for the past ten years.

#7 Lot P119 Ser 23680 picks several loads every year. I used to pull it with a WD Allis but the last couple years have started dragging it behind my hand-start A
