JD 300 to be sold at auction

There will be a JD 300 picker with a 2-30" head sold at auction near me (Orange Co., Va.) on 7/24. The owner was a friend of mine who died unexpectedly the first part of May. He had a heart attack baling hay. He was very meticulous about taking care of his machinery. See listing at www.ownbyco.com. Thought maybe someone on here might be close an could use it.

Are they sure it is a 2 row 30" cornhead? IIRC, the available heads were 2 row 40", and 3 row 30".

I'm 99% percent sure it's 30". Also, there is a used equipment peddler in Pa. (Keiter's) that is advertising one with 2-30 head available.

There was indeed a 243 corn head for 2 30" rows.  Only other thing it would fit was a pull-type chopper with an adapter plate for earlage.
