That picker looks great  you probably will be afraid to use it and get it scratched up. You did a great job on it.

Looks great and it takes a lot of work to get one to look that good.  Are you going to use it or just show it?  How much of the picker did you take apart, if any?

Thanks for the comments guys.
The only thing I took off the picker was the orange screen and the deflector fender beside the gathering snoot. The metal was all in good shape so it was really just alot of sanding and painting. Ill probably try to sell this picker sooner or later, Ive got another 309 I plan on restoring soon.

What did you use for the gray paint?

I used Sherwin-Williams marine grade aluminum paint. I'll try to get the paint numbers the next time Im at the barn.
