I would be interested if a location could be found that is not too far away from me! I'm about two hours northeast of Cedar Rapids. Somewhere near Cedar Rapids may be a good location? Any museums or collections in that area?
Well it sounds like a good start of ideas there are a couple of things that come to mind1 I guess like some where in Iowa would work like Iowa City , or Charles City of the MM and Oliver museum. The one also in Sigourney! Or St Louis , the Budweiser Brewery! In Chicago! Lots of things there !
How about at the National Farm Machinery Show, Feb. 10-13, in Louisville, KY. Its probably the best indoor farm show there is. Besides that, I plan on being there anyways.
Is there someone here who is good with computer graphics, HTML, etc.? I'm thinking we should have a map here on this forum with a dot or star on it for the location of everyone on this forum. Then we would have a good idea where to start looking for central locations for the majority of the members here. Just an idea - I don't have a clue how to post something like that here (or anywhere!)
I love the idea of the Oliver museum. I was there last year and Ive already started looking for an excuse to go back. I do know an A-C collector in town also.
