From the pictures and always sheded I would say he is not out of line ! I have seen some in not very good shape bring close to that!

You can buy a really nice hydrostatic Uni with a 3 row head for a lot less than that.

I don't know what a Uni goes for around here. I wouldn't think they would go for alot.

Uni's go for $500 to $5000 in Southern PA where there are a lot of them. More with choppers than pickers. Not many here in NY. Lots in IA and WI also. 3 guys still buying, selling and giving advice in PA, WI and IA. All very knowledgable. Got what I thought was a big problem solved in a 5 minute call with Raymond Leaman in PA recently. Trying to find the time to look at a 701 and 702 with pickers in the next week or so. Running, rusty (stored outside) but cheap. Going to see the neighbor about buying his really nice corn crib in the am.
