I found the parts i needed and threw them on last night, now the timing is off and all the links are the same length, thetop two half moon shaped pieces that rotate inbetween the paddles will clear for a few paddles then start to hit them......IM AT A LOSS?!?! Any Ideas?

What would be my best tractor choice on a New Idea 325 picker. A 450 farmall with a fast hitch that sways back and forth several inches or a Farmall M without live PTO. I can use either but would like some opinions. Thanks.
