I just bought a Case 425 mounted corn picker in Indiana. I was wondering what year it was, the serial number is 8163551. Thank you for the help. Also here is a couple pics.

I have a New Idea 319 gathering unit. It came equipped with New Idea hydraulic cylinders. The cylinders have a vent plug in one end for one way operation. Pressure to raise the unit. Does anyone know if you can remove the vent and add a second hydraulic hose for two way hydraulic operation?
