Corn picker book

For those who know me, when I say the corn picker book will be done soon,

probably will not believe me. But thanks to the hard work of my wife, Phyllis,

the book will be done this year. The plan is to have it ready for Christmas.

Right now she is working on the Oliver section. Using two different sources,

one mentions a No. 15 one row picker and the other source does not mention it.

If you have any information on the No. 15 picker, please contact us.

Please check back on this forum as we may need your help in the future.

Really looking forward to this.

Is it possible to place a pre-order?

Thanks

We are working on the New Idea chapter of the Corn Picker book, and we're sure most of you will agree
that New Idea made many popular models -- but we need a little help identifying the model numbers,
especially the early models. If you have knowledge of New Idea and consider yourself a New Idea expert,
please get in contact with us!

Also, as soon as we know how many pages will be in the book, and then what the printing cost will be, we will
be able to start taking preorders.

Bob, I know the book has probably taken longer than you thought it would but I would like to say "thank you" for your hard work and for striving to "get it right".  The book will be a good resource for all of us who love picking.  So here is a dose of encouragement to "finish the good fight".   Mike

Phyllis and I are working on the Case corn picker chapter and we need a good picture
of the 426 model. If you have a good picture or sales literature of Case's last 2 row
mounted corn picker, please contact us.

They have a website, CornPickerBook.com. I check it every so often, but it is not yet available. It sounds close, though. Looking forward to it!
