What is the easiest way to change the corn saver on a one row New Idea 323 corn picker? I took the bolts out of the old one and there is an angled piece of angle iron in the way. Do I have to remove it to change out the corn saver? Thanks for your help.

No, you can wiggle it around and bend it down slightly to pull it out. Slide it all the way over to the tire. I've done it (too) many times. It is a miserable job.
