2ME cast gathering chains

Anybody have a source for the cast gathering chains?? Ours are getting to the point that we need to replace them before we do any more.

HA875 and HA876 are the numbers I believe.

I measured the pitch and got 1 5/8?

Can these cast chain be replaced with new style stamped chain?

Thanks, Dan

Quite a load you have there! That McCormick wagon looks like it is in really nice shape - could you post some more pictures of it sometime?

Wow, not sure I ever saw one on an F-20. I bet it's interesting to drive, where would you stand up if you needed to?

Here is the link to my original post.

Our wagon was on a sale last fall about 15 miles from home. All original except for about 2 or 3 tires.
Washed it up and wiped her down with linseed oil this summer.

That wagon really is a nice find! So there were 2 of them at the sale you purchased it at? And it looks like there was a nice Electric flare box wagon as well......

Yes there was 2 but the one had a Electric gear I believe. Both boxes in the same shape (all original). We wanted the one with the IHC gear.

I guess that was a die-hard IH farmer! And I like the custom-made sideboards with the V-neck to clear the corn picker elevator (lined with tin, no less!)

He must have had a stand-alone wagon hoist - I see no hydraulic hoist under those wagons.

Most farmers who owned barge and flare-box wagons back in the day had wagons made by short-line manufacturers such as Heider, Minnesota, Nu-Bilt or Electric (and many others....)

There was a lot of nice old equipment on that sale. There was alot of nice literature as well on that auction.

Yes the hoist we bought also. Its one that has two pipes that straddle the wagon tongue and has a hydraulic jack with a hook on it. The hook catches the loop on the front of the wagon. Yes there was a lot of very nice original equipment on the sale. We bought the 2MH picker on that sale for my now girlfriends dad.

Found a pic of the hoist.
If I remember right it is a Walsh hoist.
