I'm trying to resurrect a couple of New Idea No. 7 one row pickers.  One of them needs the piece which hangs down over the husking rolls--I believe they call it an "ear straightener".  There are two of them which hang down and are driven by cams on the presser wheels.  The one I need is the front one (closest to the tractor).

 

Hope this description made sense.  If anyone has one they would sell, either reply to this post, or email me at    judyandrich@frontiernet.net

I haven't started doing much with mine yet. It's going to need a lot of TLC, and I may need a few other things before I'm done.
