Nice looking crib!! Where did you get the plans to make it?  Did you use all new wood or did you have a source for recycled wood?

I would like to find a nice double crib to move onto the farm.

Thanks everyone I think it will hold around 500 bushel of corn, I didn't really have any plans to go by just build it kinda the way I thought it sould be . So we will see how it goes. I used all new lumber I got from a local saw mill the framing is all oak wood and the cribbing part is pine I was afraid that the oak in small strips would split a bow to much. My roof hangs over about 2 ft all the way around so the sides want get to wet. I planted 5 acres of corn and figured that would be big enough but I have picked 2 acres so far and all ready have over 300 bushels. We'll off to go pick some more will try to get some pI a of my picker and equipment today

Didn't get as much in it as I thought got about 425 bushels or a little more could fill it all the way to the roof so I guess that's how come it come up short.

Length x width x height x .4 = bushels 16 x 6 x 12 x .4 = 460.8 bushels
